Drugs kill another who had everything
I've never been a fan of this kind of music, but this is a great song.

Sky diving from the edge of space.
This man is going to jump out of a baloon, and fall to earth faster than the speed of sound. The smallest problem in his special suit will be the death of him, but here he is, being interviewed with a big smile on his face. His name is Felix, and they say that cats have nine lives. Good luck Felix!

A warning to all teachers!
I don't want to give anyone ideas, but you have to recognise a good trick when you see one!
I wonder if he's chatting with his girlfriend or doing an exam?

The age of exploration, and courage.
100 years ago, there were still parts of the world which were unexplored. The South Pole was one. Two groups of men, one British and one Norweigan set out to get there.Only one group came back. Check out this incredible story of sacrifice and bravery.

Amazing photos of the new Bilbao, courtesy of Andrea Z.
Have a look at this beautiful collection of images, sent to us from Andrea. As you can see, she has created some lovely images of the area around the Guggenheim museum.
She shows that photography is an art form open to everyone. We can all find a camera, and with a little observation not only create beautiful images, but also enjoy seeing the world around us in a new way. So grab your dad's/aunt's/friend's camera and start taking photos. Send them to the blog, and you won't only improve your grades, you might even win a prize!!
Thanks Andrea. You clearly have a future at the Magnum agency!

Bungee Jumping. Your worst nightmare!
And she survived!
Answer these questions for positive points!
What happened to cause the accident?
Where and when did it happen?
How does she describe her survival?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
This is how English people welcomed the new year in London! They don't eat 12 grapes for it,.If you have ever been there, you'll recognize the pictures. I wish you all a great 2012!

Let's start the year with hope. This is a piece from the Bible, the 40th psalm., beautifully poetic both in English and in Spanish
"I waited patiently for the Lord,
He inclined and heard my cry.
He lifted me up out of the pit,
Out of the miry clay.
He set my feet upon a rock,
He made my footsteps firm,
Many will see, Many will see and fear."
I will sing a new song"
Muchos verán esto, y temerán,
y así confiarán en el Señor.
(40th Psalm).
